  • There may be today, some reason that brings you to search for help & support, to think of therapy, and someone to share what you’re going through. It takes courage and hope to reach out and talk about what’s happening with you.

    Individual psychotherapy is where the therapist and the client have a collaborative therapeutic relationship to support you, the client, in life’s challenges and concerns, to improve your mental health, and to empower you. I can help you find meaning, safety, growth and solutions through your experiences, and to connect you with supports and your way forward. You’re not alone, and it does get better.

    Psychotherapy is primarily talk therapy, but we may also explore and use other techniques, such as somatic and movement work and mindfulness, depending on your needs, goals and treatment plan.

  • I offer psychotherapy and counselling telehealth services to support your wellness, from the comfort of your home.

    Benefits to online therapy include accessibility, convenience, and affordability. You will only need access to the internet, a working device and a good pair of earphones. You don’t need to pay for childcare, gas, parking or leave your home.

    However, some people do prefer to interact in person with their therapist. Only you can decide if online therapy suits you.

  • The number of sessions depends on your goals for therapy, types of interventions, and your presenting concern. Sessions are typically booked once every two weeks but that may vary depending on your financial situation and schedule.

  • 60 minute appointments are $180

    90 minute appointments range from $220 - 250

    Psychotherapy & counselling services rendered by psychotherapists are exempt from GST/HST.

  • I speak English, Hindi and Gujarati. I find that Urdu speaking clients are also often comfortable working with me, because of the similarities of Urdu & Hindi.

  • With private practice psychotherapy, it can depend on the coverage plan you have - please check with your insurance provider. I don’t offer direct billing, but I do provide invoices and receipts you can use to claim insurance / benefits coverage.

    I offer an initial 15 mins free consultation by phone – a meeting for us to get to know each other and start building a therapeutic relationship.

    It is also an opportunity for you to ask your therapist questions about their methods and talk about what issues you want to address. After this, if we choose to work together, we will likely set up a regular session schedule.
